My story
Hi, my name is Posty!!  They say I am the sweetest 10 year old chihuahua you will ever meet in your life....  what a great compliment, if I do say so myself!  I weigh around 8 lbs, I am full of love and greet everyone I meet with a wagging tail and a big smile!  I am very spry and every time I go out on the town, my personality shines and people are immediately drawn to give me attention and pets, which I absolutely adore.  It aint easy being this cute! I figured I should give you my list of favorite things, because I know the more you learn about me the more you will fall in love!  First of all, Im the quintessential lap dog and the very best companion/friend someone could ever have.  I love to sunbathe on the porch, I love to go on walks so I can sniff and explore new things, I love to snooze and take naps under my blankets, (under YOUR blankets sounds like a fun idea, too!). Im trained to sleep on my dog bed, but Ive quietly worked my way onto my foster moms bed at night and Im so quiet and easy, she doesnt even notice!  (Shhhh!)  I am very gentle and docile, I wont jump in your lap unless Im invited, and I will give you as many happy kisses as you will allow but I am not in your face and needy.  I get along with dogs of all sizes, Id prefer a home with laid back dogs like myself.   Im calm, adorable, spry and fun, what more could you ask for?   I happily wait on the sofa when my foster mom is away, and I get so happy to see her and my ears point straight up with a, yay, youre BACK sort of a look.  She thinks its the cutest thing ever, so, Im happy to bring those smiles to her face every day. They say Im like a little sunshine with four legs, so I guess that means that Im always in a good mood and always ready for whatever youre have planned for us to do today. I travel great in the car, Ill just lay on the blanket while my foster mom chauffeurs me around.  I feel like maybe Im bragging on myself too much... but is too much even possible when youre as adorable as me?  I love Netflix binges and have been told Im the perfect buddy to take a snooze with at any time during the day, rain or shine.   Id like a quiet home without young kids, I just enjoy the laid back life in peace and harmony. Im house trained and I dont stay in the crate, but will if I must.   Im on a regular potty schedule, my foster mom takes me out every 4-5 hours at the least, and first thing in the morning.  Id love to meet you and see if you are my forever match.  Im neutered, current on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped, Im about to get my teeth cleaned, and am tested negative for heartworms.  Id love to hear from you, so send my assistant....
